Camano Island Kennels, the first choice of many Northwesterners who seek to train or to problem-solve with their dogs or simply to arrange a safe and pleasant home away from home for their canine companions. We occupy five acres of Camano Island, within convenient driving distance of Seattle, Mount Vernon, Marysville, Stanwood, Everett and many other Northwest Washington cities and towns. To access the bridge to our island, you simply depart Interstate 5 at Exit 212, between Everett and Mount Vernon, and drive west.

Camano Island Kennels provides an environment for dogs that ranks highly among dog owners for security, cleanliness and comfort. Our reputation is built on two things; dog training and dog boarding.

Our training programs are widely respected for their effectiveness. We work with all breeds and all ages of dogs and with their owners in our rural field-and-forest setting, and provide training tailored to meet each person’s particular needs. Most of our clients seek help simply in ensuring that the canine additions to their families are obedient and enjoyable companions. If need be, however, we can address and modify dangerous or destructive canine behavior or other problem behaviors. No dog is too large, too small or too difficult for our fulltime professional trainers.

The boarding facilities at Camano Island Kennels provide a comfortable, clean and healthy environment in a tranquil setting, and are popular with dog owners from throughout a wide region. We accept both large and small canine guests of all breeds, and provide them with individual personal care. We will administer medications to your pet, for example, if a veterinarian has ordered them, and we feed familiar food from home if an owner believes his pet would prefer that to the premium but unaccustomed food that we furnish for most of our guests. We provide covered kennel enclosures with comforting music and in-floor radiant heat, surrounded by five acres of forest and field, and access to a park-like area of three acres for exercise and play. All of these things will contribute to your dog’s contentment and well being, which are our highest priority.

No matter whether your dog comes here to train or just for a few days away from home, we are confident he or she will appreciate the relaxing atmosphere of Camano Island Kennels. We welcome all sizes, ages and breeds of dogs, as well as a full range of canine behavior types. We are convenient to Stanwood, Marysville, Everett and Mount Vernon, and are close enough to Seattle to draw many of our guests from there also.
